Roman Kravetsky, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, died peacefully on March 3 at the age of 88. He resided in South Plainfield, NJ for 86 years before moving to Jackson, WY to be near several of his loving children and grandchildren. A decorated World War II veteran, he served in the U.S Army and earned two Bronze Star Medals and the Purple Heart. Upon returning from the war, he worked as a truck driver for Moore's Trucking in Piscataway, NJ until his retirement.
Mr. Kravetsky will be sadly missed by sons Roman, Stanley (Lisa), and Joseph (Janet), and daughters Frances (Pat) Dalugdug, and Romana (Allan) Morton. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary and daughter, Marianne (Ken) VanOstenbridge. Mr. Kravetsky leaves eight grandchildren: Michelle, James, Joseph, Jacob, Matthew, Jessica, Luke and Stephen, and two great-grandchildren, Jayden and Trace. He was brother to Frances (Sylvester) Zavitski, Stanley, Alfred, Charles, Frederick, Edmund, and Alfonse.
At his request, a private funeral service will be held in Jackson, WY.
