Patricia Haubert Hendrick

March 14, 1947 — December 20, 2024

Jackson WY

Patti Haubert (Hill) Hendricks passed peacefully on December 20th. The uniquely sweet lady used her deep internal strength to fight multiple cancers over the last three years. Knowing she could not win this war, she battled on for the last two months, never wavering from her lifetime of being the most giving and kind person in the room. She set a great example by building and maintaining a network of many friends, across the country and beyond (especially in Bexley, OH; Scottsdale, AZ; and Jackson, WY). An amazing number of friends visited and reached out in recent weeks. These communications truly touched her and the family.

Patti was preceded in death by her father Eugene Otto Haubert, mother Sara (Sally) Huntington Haubert, husband Larry Keith Hendricks, and brother Franz Eugene Haubert. Patty is survived by her two sisters Susi Meade and Nanci Clark; her sons Thomas Kelly (Angelique) Hill III and Matthew Huntington (Patty) Hill; four grandchildren Morgan (Michelle), Emily, Tyler, and Erika Hill; stepchildren Lori Hendricks (Marc) Nolan and Dana (Deb) Hendricks, step grandchildren Danielle Shuster and Zack Nolan, and step greatgrandchildren Hayden and Mason.

Patti was born in Columbus (Bexley), OH on March 14th, 1947 and lived there until moving to Jackson, WY in 1985. Patti attended Butler University. She had previously visited Jackson Hole (Elbow Dude Ranch) since the late 1950’s. Her places of employment in Jackson included The Bunnery and the Travel Consultants (owner). Patti was active in the community, participating in the Howdy Pardner Ambassador Club, JH Classic Car Club, Meals on Wheels, First Baptist Church, and decades with her mahjong group full of wonderful friends. In the year 2000 Patti began migrating to Scottsdale, AZ in Winter. She developed many meaningful friendships with other “snowbirds”, as well as, full time AZ residents.

Celebrations of her life will be held in Scottsdale, AZ this Spring and in Jackson, WY in early Summer, dates to be determined. The family would be honored by donations made to any of the organizations focused on fighting cancer.
