Marilyn Clark

Marilyn Joyce Fries Clark, born May 14, 1924, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016, at the age of 92. Marilyn was most recently a resident of Jackson, Wyoming , but was previously a resident of Walnut Creek.
Born in Ogden, Utah as the first child of Vera Louella Murdock Fries and Joseph Wesley Fries, the family relocated to Southern California where, years later, she met the love of her life, John Boynton Clark. She and John had five children, Cynthia Clark Griggs of Jackson, Jolene Clark Martin of Walnut Creek, California, John Victor Clark of Evanston, Wyoming, Richard Joseph Clark (deceased) of Jupiter, Florida and Steven Walter Clark (deceased) also of Jupiter, Florida.
Marilyn enjoyed gardening and particularly cultivating herbs. She prepared and presented many classes on herbs and herb gardening. She was an avid reader and particularly enjoyed historical novels and historical fiction along with her study of the scriptures.
Marilyn will be buried in Rough and Ready, California where she will join her husband and son Steven in the Boynton Family plot. There will be a graveside ceremony with immediate family.
