Gerald Hebberger

Gerald (Gerry) Hebberger died at home in Jackson on January 9, 2016 at 9 p.m. after a valiant six-year battle with cancer.

Gerry was the beloved son of John Hebberger, Sr. and Peggy Hebberger, and the brother of John Hebberger, Jr., (Susan). Gerry was born on July 6, 1954 and lived in Kirkwood, Missouri until he moved to Lawrence, Kansas and then to Jackson, Wyoming in 1979 with his childhood friend, Tim Meehan.

He worked for Francie Corbett at Contract Design until her death in 2003. After that, Gerry formed his own business, Summit Window Coverings, which he ran successfully until shortly before his death.

He married Tina Magnum in 1993 and helped raise her children, Tiffany and Tyson, until their divorce in 2005.

Gerry loved to hunt and fish, especially with his Dad. He left behind his beloved cat, Zipper, and many friends, including Brad Bartholomew, Tim Meehan and Jeff Raymond. All who knew him loved him.

We are especially grateful for the help Gerry received from St. John’s Hospice and from his hospice nurse, Tye Byrd. And to Dr. Bruce Hayse and Dr. Martin Trott.
